Getting Kids Styled at Great Prices! Old Navy Kids and Baby Sale!

Everyone knows that my mom and I love to shop for our adorable girls. When I can get the perfect combination of gorgeous kid fashion, affordable prices, and great selection for my two babes, that's definitely a winner!

Old Navy is having a great Kids & Baby Sale running now until Wednesday, February 20th. I wanted to see how much I could get for my kids with a set budget of 75 dollars. I was not disappointed.

Here is a pic of my great Old Navy haul.

For 75.00 I was able to score 8 great pieces for my cuties. I love these pink roll up poplin pants. They are just the perfect pant for early spring and at only 12 dollars, they are a great price. The adorable cinch-waist shirts fit our girls perfectly, and at 6 dollars, they are a steal! I'm also a sucker for anything with that international flair to it, so these were definitely a great purchase. There are tons of graphic tees that are a steal for 5 dollars as well! I have to admit, though, my favorite purchase were these gorgeous rugby sweaters. Ever since my husband and I went to London in 2009, we have been a sucker for that very cool, rugby stripe type shirt. These sweaters are perfect for layering, and at 12 dollars each, they were a fantastic buy!

The best thing about Old Navy clothes, other than their awesome prices and style, is that the girls are so comfortable in them. Our 19 month olds are constantly on the move, so the need to be comfortable is necessary!

This was the perfect little outfit to layer on and go outside for a little run around the yard. I paired their sweaters with an Old Navy graphic tee and some Old Navy jeans we got the girls for Christmas. Jeans are currently on sale for 10 dollars, and there is no.other.brand out there that fits my petite little flower or my tall, leggy baby as good as Old Navy.

Yesterday, I had several ladies over for a get together, and all of them just said how adorable and chic our girls looked yesterday in their little French tee and roll-up poplin pants.

The selection at my local Old Navy is great. At this point, I do dress the girls alike or in complementary outfits, so having two outfits in the same size is important for me, and I was not disappointed in their selection.

I still can't believe I got 8 pieces of clothes for my littles for 75 bucks!  It's definitely the perfect time to hit up some sales for some staples like socks or onesies, a fun peacoat, a sweater, an Easter outfit, or if you need to get a baby shower gift, I can't imagine a more perfect time!

Being a mom of twins, we are very conscious of our wallets and getting the best deals for our girls. It's awesome that we never have to sacrifice style or comfort, and we are always happy with what we get from ours. Run right now to grab something fun for your littles!

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

  4. Not to sound too negative hear, but that's not a very good haul. 4 outfits for 75? You can go to Target and get twice as many outfits for just as much. I love Old Navy's clothes, but not such a good deal. Why spend so much when kids this age grow out of clothes so quickly?

    1. Well if she didnt have twins there would be 8 outfits, so less then $10 an outfit is a GREAT deal!!!

    2. I have twins and one baby you could get more for but buying double is expensive

      Delete
    3. I agree , I love old navy sales, but,,,, she only got four outfits for $75.00,,, Target has much better deals on clothing, I could buy 6 outfits for less than $75.00,,,

    4. Actually, it would still only be 4 outfits, even if she were buying for only one child -- she got 8 pcs. not 8 outfits.

    5. I spend around 20 to 25 a couple times a year for my son at Once Upon a Child and each time I get nearly triple what she did and everyone always comments on how well dressed my 3 year old is. If you're so money conscious you wouldn't be shopping at Old Navy. I would spend 12 on a sweater for myself but not my son because he'll outgrow it. 24 dollars on two sweaters that they'll only wear a couple months is stupid.

    6. I agree! If you have the money to throw at Old Navy clothes that aren't clearance then go ahead and spend it. But don't brag about how awesome of a deal you're getting. I shop consignment sales and for $75 can get a seaons worth of clothes for my two kids. I try not to spend over $1 per piece or $2 for an outfit. Sometimes I'll splurge on something like a fancy dress for $8. So to me $12 for a pair of pants is way too much.

    7. I agree, old navy is cute and the baby sale has some good prices, but I wouldn't call it a steal by any means. I just placed an order from Gymboree, and got 19 pieces for $71 shipped.

    8. I agree that isn't that great of a deal. I have 3 children and just bought all of them complete spring and summer wardrobes for less than $200 by shopping at consignment shops and thrift stores. That included brands like Old Navy, Gymboree , and Children's Place.

    10. Notice that this post is sponsored by Old Navy, so she was provably compensated with free clothing or something. (Not faulting because I would say whatever they wanted me to say for some free/discounted kids clothing)

    11. She is just as money conscious as anyone who shops at one upon a child, and she isn't bragging about her awesome deal, this article is sponsered by old navy, she's doing her job and being compensated accordingly.

  5. I find adorable stuff at Value Village/Savers all the time at much lower prices than this. I get Old Navy, Gap, and higher end brand clothing there that has hardly been worn as kids grow out of it so fast at this age. I highly recommend thrifting - although for twins, it would be hard to get 2 the same at a thrift shop. I am a twin - first time to your blog. Congrats - my twin and I are still best friends at 35 years old. Being a twin is awesome :)

    1. I do thrifting as well. I do my rounds at savers, goodwill, and thrify stores. $75 can get a lot of money thrifting. A lot of people think shopping at those stores, you can find only junk but I have found so much brand new clothing for my kids..new with tags from target, old navy, gymboree, gap. If you have patience to look then there are lots of goodies

    2. I'm always disappointed in the prices at Savers. For a thrift store, the prices are astronomical. They sell kids' pajamas for like $6, and I feel like I can get new PJs for that price if they're on sale. At Once Upon a Child, the prices are generally the same or even lower but for better quality stuff than Savers, so I mostly go there now.

  7. Love the outfits! I took advantage of the sale as well (online and in store!) If you dont already you should try thier credit card. You get rewards and I scored a 15 off 50 dollar purchase that I was able to use during the sale! Adorable girls, in adorable clothes!

  8. I just took advantage of thiis sale online and I got 8 t shirts, 2 tank tops & a cardigan for my 3.5 yr daughter and 5 t shirts & 2 pairs of shorts for my 16 mo old son. All of this for $112!

  9. I love Old Navy's stuff for toddlers and I love the items you got for your little girls. But in all honesty, I don't think that was such a great haul for $75. I think you could have definitely gotten more items (and just as cute!) for that same amount if you had looked around at other stores like Target/TCP. I'm not trying to be negative. Just a tip for another time :)

    2. I agree. I've actually gotten much better hauls (for my twin boys) at Old Navy (and at TCP, etc. as well). I never pay more than $5-6 per pair of pants/jeans (occasionally $8 if I really love them), no more than $8-10 at the most for a sweater and rarely more than $5-6 for a shirt. Clothing boys is quite likely cheaper than girls though and your girls look adorable. :)

  10. I do alot better than that at Old Navy. I'm thinking you didn't have any coupons for them. I have gotten over 12 items for around $75 including jeans. Plus, you should be shopping clearance, you'll do even better. I got my husband an OldNavy winter jacket for $6, just by cruising the clearance section. $75 for 8 items is NOT a good deal. You can do better, just need to learn how to shop them. Sign up for an OldNavy credit card, but pay it off when it comes in, so you don't pay interest, then you'll get some pretty good coupons. When they have $10 kids jeans sale, I use a 40% off coupon they send me, so I get jeans for $6. I think you really need to learn how to shop better, especially with twins. I have 2 girls, it's gonna get more expensive as they get older.

    1. Just got back from Old Navy. Got 6 pairs of girls jeans, and a henley long sleeve shirt all for only $41. Now, Thats a good deal.

  11. Goodwill has items brand new items from Target that they couldn't sell while on clearance. Most are off season, but I take advantage and buy bigger sizes for my daughter for the upcoming seasons. All shirts are only $1.50 (brand new, tags still attached). THAT'S where all the good deals are.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Macy's runs amazing clearance deals towards the end of each season. You could have spent the same amount and left with more. Old Navy clothing always seems to be made less well than other brands... so I don't purchase from them any longer. I am not a big fan of the store Target, but my daughter has been gifted a few of their clothing pieces and they always hold up well and don't cost much. I'm really not trying to be a Debbie Downer... but I agree with most everyone else. Your haul was okay.... but not great. I do agree about getting their card... they always send coupons (we use of for GAP) and it really brings the prices down.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I think you got a great deal considering everything you bought was for spring! It's great to shop the clearance sections but often it's limited with size or season and I can't imagine buying two! Your girls are precious!

  14. I consider myself a bargain shopper for sure and Old Navy does make shopping for my teen and 5 year old daughter a lot less painful for my pocket book however I'm not always impressed with the quality of the clothing. I'm an avid Gymboree shopper and they too were having a sale this weekend. I picked up a beautiful sweater, 2 pairs of jeans, 3 long sleeve embroidered shirts and a pair of shorts and coordinating t-shirt for $55. What I love about Gymboree is that they send out a 20% off coupon you can use when they have their 70% off sale with an additional 25% taken at the register. You also use your 20% with this sale. So I paid $5.70 for beautiful embroidered jeans and 2.09 for the long sleeve shirts I mentioned. I also earned $25 in Gymbucks to use in April to get 1/2 off a $50 purchase. Your girls look adorable in their new diggs!

  15. I agree 75$ for 8 outfits really isn't that great of a deal you could go to Walmart and get more than that! I love Oldnavy though when I have the extra money...

  16. Very cute outfits! I really like those striped sweaters. It always feels good to "make a dollar out of fiftenn cents." :)

  17. Seriously NOT a good deal! In fact, I've never even found good clearance deals in the kids' section at Old Navy. And I typically go used at consignment shops or garage sales or trading with friends. The kids' go through so many clothes so quickly!

  19. I am sad at how many adult women took time out of their lives to come and tell you that you did not get a good deal! I am also a HUGE old navy shopper & I often find pieces for 97 cents or just a couple of dollars. However, sometimes it is just fun to buy your kiddos something brand new that they can actually wear this season (aka not buying snowpants in april!) I think these outfits are adorable & if it makes you feel any better I ended up with 9 pieces & still think it was a great deal! (Only 1 pair of shoes was on clearance:))

    1. Being adult women, maybe we thought we were helping her out by giving her advice on how to get better deals. :) No one said she was wrong for buying her kids brand new things, most were just pointing out that if she really wanted to stretch her dollar, there are better ways to still get quality clothing. FWIW, I never buy off season clothes and still shop largely at consignment, thrift, clearance, and sale racks. Just because people buy clothes that way does not mean they buy snowpants in April. :P

  20. You may not have gotten a good deal on clothes, however since it's your kids shop how you want. You don't have to please anyone just yourself. They do look cute though!
